We have used Gateway Builders on two separate occasions. The first one was to do a double storey extension which involved knocking a garage down and building upwards. The build, as can sometimes happen, was not without its problems. Chris and his team kept us informed throughout the build and advised on how to best deal with the problems whilst helping us to stay within budget as much as possible. The finished product has been one of the best decisions we made. The Team from Gateway were with us for nearly six months and in all the time the professionalism, friendly approach, decision making and problem solving was first class. We have just completed our second project with Gateway which was the knocking down of a conservatory and replacing with add-on extension to the back of the house with bi-fold doors and Velux windows. This was a much smaller project than the first and was very professionally managed. With both builds Chris’s project managing was extremely competent and professional. All the trades’ people, materials etc. were delivered in a timely manner and there was no stress on our part. The Team went the extra mile to get the job finished and painted before Christmas to an extremely high professional standard so we could enjoy Christmas Day in our new extension. We have recommended Gateway Builders to our family and friends. Chris’s relaxed and informal approach is a real skill as he organises everything so professionally. His knowledge and expertise together with his friendly personality makes him and the team very easy to deal with and goes towards making what can be a stressful time as smooth as possible.
